Donaldson, James, [note] a farmer, wrote in 1698, a foolish book of rhymes, entitled “A Picktooth for Swearers, or a Looking-Glass for Atheists and
profane persons,” &c. He was the author also of a small tract,
called “Husbandry Anatomized,” which
shews, that though no poet, he was a good farmer.
